Tamil Classes in Melbourne
Tamilar Inc, and Victorian School of Languages have partnered and are running Tamil Classes for primary school students in Werribbee and Lalor. The curriculum is aligned to the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).
Modern methods are employed by Tutors Sudha and Venkatesh with worksheets and textbooks to enhance a grasp of the language. The course includes a wide range of multimedia content including flash games, audio and video clips. Classes focus on improving vocabulary and conversational skills through songs and drama along with fun and games. Complementing class room studies is an online portal which has the course content of week uploaded so that students and parents can access them via secure access.
As the saying goes “சித்திரம்கைப்பழக்கம்செந்தமிழ்நாப்பழக்கம்”. The main priority is to make the students speak Tamil first, followed by reading and writing.
